Project: Brand identity, Packaging

Swell is a French-Japanese Fusion Bistro located in downtown San Francisco. The menu’s minimalist typography and geometric patterns reflect the restaurant’s modern atmosphere. In order to come up with a sustainable design for the menu case, I used recycled medium density fiber boards for its construction. The logo and pattern are both laser etched onto the board’s surface. The food containers are also laser etched to allow the paper’s natural fibers to show through, mirroring the same geometric pattern on the restaurant’s menu and coasters.
